　　学生在选课的过程中更多的考虑到了就业，更多地选择了实用技能的培养和商务英语等课程的学习，除去一些准备考研的学生，文学选读课的学生越来越少。这种现象的出现固然是多种原因造成的，但是传统文学课堂教学的弊端也是值得深思和改进的。教师将海量的文学作品的相关信息填鸭给学生，学生自主学习的机会很少。为了适应新形势下的英美文学教育发展趋势，英语专业教师站在学生的角度研究学生的学习心态，激发学生的学习兴趣。在教学中改革传统教学模式，开展研究性学习，在完成教学任务的同时，指导学生选择自己喜爱的作家和作品，亲自参与课堂环节的'设计和资料的搜索并展示给大家。有计划地、有步骤地组织学生课外开展文学作品阅读，读后进行思考并撰写读书报告，交流读书心得一项有益的尝试。

　　二、读书报告及其写作

　　依据百度百科的解释，所谓读书报告，简言之，就是读完书之后的心得报告，是阅读者系统的收集、统整、研读与创作主题相关的各种材料，经分析、归纳、提炼等思维活动，提出个人见解和观点的文字作品。写读书报告的目的在于增加新知、提升研究和表达能力。

　　1、读书报告的撰写

　　读书报告是一种非常有用的实用体裁，它可以帮助我们记录复习学过的知识并提高我们的概括能力、综合能力、分析能力和评判能力。读书报告一本可分为两种类型即：摘要式读书报告、简评式读书报告。摘要式读书报告（summarytape　book　report）就是只把原作的故事情节或论述要点简要复述一遍，不掺杂自己的看法，不能随心所欲的发挥，但是必须自己审题、构思、布局，按原文顺序，运用自己的话语将原著简述出来，简评式读书报告（brief-comment　book　report）要求不仅把一书的情节、要点复述一遍，而且要在简述原作的主要内容之外还必须表达自己对该书和作者的看法。也就是说，从自己的观点来写，必须包括虚实两个方面，实的方面是记录原作的内容，虚的方面是表达自己的见解。

　　撰写读书报告时可首先在阅读之前准备做下笔记，例如：书名，包括其出版年月；著作的种类，小说、传记、学习辅导还是专著等；作者的姓名、国籍、出生年月；创作的背景、时间、地点；著作内的主要人物以及内容梗概，包括主要情节、论述要点等，最后要有一个初步印象式的简评，即对此著作的印象及评论。做好笔记之后。读书报告对于一本书的主要情节、论述要点等要写得少而精，要侧重自己的看法和情感、反应和评论，平时要求学生写作的也多为简评式读书报告。

　　2、教师的指导

　　布置学生课前预习，要求学生在图书馆或网上查阅与学习内容有关的资料等，并在课堂上进行口头交流；结合学生自主学习的需要，为学生制定了英美文学必读书目，并以读书报告和口头汇报的形式定期检查学生的阅读情况。通过课前预习和课后阅读，既培养了学生动手查资料的能力，为以后的论文写作打下基础，也调动了学生学习的积极性和动手能力。

　　需要强调的是，教师在指导学生选择作品时要特别考虑两个问题：（1）循序渐进，由易到难：阅读的目的是强化输入，增加语言输入量，培养学生的语感。因此，教师要认真筛选，选择适合学生水平的。能够引起他们兴趣的文学作品。也就是要保证学生语言输入的流畅性，争取尽可能大的输入量。（2）题材要尽量地广，使学生对英美国家的历史、社会、政治、经济、文化、法律、宗教、风土人情等有一个较全面的感知，扩大在这些领域的知识。在体裁E也要多样化，小说、散文、各类人物的传记等等，以接触多样的语言形式，理解各种语言材料，同时还要兼顾其知识性、趣味性和发展性，促进他们语言水平的不断提高。

　　专业英语不同于基础英语，需要一定的专业知识作为基础，课程一般设置在大三的下半学期，学生已初步掌握基本专业知识为好。然而，与其它学科的专业英语相比， 环境工程专业英语亦非具有很强的专业性，环境问题全球化，专业词汇在平时生活中也有接触，专业文章与科普文章相近，看懂National Geographic和Discovery等媒体的文章即可基本掌握环境工程专业英语知识点了（钱家忠，20xx）。

　　2 现状及存在问题

　　2.1 学生基础差

　　环境工程专业英语开始于大学三年级，经过前期基础英语学习，本该有一定的基础，然而，目前的大学基础英语教学基本上都是四六级的应试教育为主，导致学生的英语综合应用能力差，大部分学生丧失英语学习的热情。学生专业英语翻译、会话能力较差，很多学生不敢开口说英语，听力更是强差人意，总的来说，学生的英语基础水平偏低，缺乏实践与综合能力（顾爱军，20xx）。

　　2.2 教材与授课模式落后

　　教材体现着教学大纲的合理性，教材内容的深浅、多寡以及前沿性等问题决定了专业英语的教学质量。然而，目前环境工程专业英语教材内容多为节选英文报刊、文献片段作、早期国际会议内容介绍和陈旧的环境处理工艺等，内容枯燥乏味，无法与时俱进。

　　2.3 授课时间和考核方式不合理

　　与其他院校一样（孙娟，20xx；王志伟，20xx），本学院的专业英语课程时间为32课时，短课时出现的问题亦与其他院校一样，有限学时内无法把专业英语中的听力、翻译、阅读、书写和口语全部讲完，学生难以提高专业英语的综合应用能力。闭卷考试考核，以专业词汇的掌握和长句子的`中英文翻译为主，使学生大部分时间花在背诵专业词汇的误区中，同时大部分学生受基础英语水平的影响，使学生更失去学习专业英语的热情，因此专业英语的考核方式如等同于基础英语的考核方式是相当不科学的。

　　3 专业英语教学改革的方法

　　如上所述，专业英语目前面临的问题是学生综合利用能力较差、教材落后、授课方式和考核方式不科学等，根据这些不足之处，本人在授课时，改革了专业英语的授课方式、多增加专业知识实践的内容，创造学生听力与口语的学习机会，从而提高学生的英语综合利用能力。具体内容如下：

　　3.1 设置专题报告

　　该部分内容主要为了增加学生的会话能力，兼培养学生查阅英文文献的能力。列出环境专业的热点内容，让学生课后查阅相关的资料，以英语报告内容，设定答疑时间，保证学生对报告内容熟悉掌握。

　　3.2 增加外文阅读量

　　专业英语的其中一个基本能力就是需要阅读大量的外文文献，为了提高和加强学生的阅读能力，布置课外内容，给学生阅读文章名单，让学生三个月内读完并撰写综述，同时，教授科技论文的基本写法，讲述科技论文各部分的书写特点。

　　3.3 提高专业知识的综合利用能力

　　学生在大三的上半学年已经掌握了一定的专业知识，教会学生综合应用专业知识与国际接轨是专业英语中的一个重要任务。参照国外的灵活授课的方式，让学生动手，多接触专业知识，给学生设置研究题目，让其展开研究。如让学生调查研究中山市城区的垃圾分类现状，以居住小区为单位，设计问卷进行访问，最后归纳总结调查所得数据，撰写科技论文。

　　3.4 听力与书写能力的培育

　　中国学生的英语中，听力是一大的弱项，如要增强国际交际能力，听力是一个基本的素养。课堂让学生完成专题报告，训练学生口语的同时也在训练的听力；同时善用互联网资源，推荐一个英语口语学习网站（http：//elllo.org），网站上提供全球各区域的英语口音。为学生筛选相关的科研视频资料，如TED网站，有专业相关的视频，播放提前下载的视频，删除英文字幕，让学生根据观看内容，用英文写出简单的综述性论文，训练学生的综合写作能力。

　　3.5 改变考核方式

　　改变考核方式，以过程考核的方式，让学生提高英语学习的兴趣和热情。把考核内容按照改革内容分成四部分，即专题报告、平时考核小测、阅读与论文写作训练和课后分组调研作业，根据学生的学习态度，工作热情以及学习效果等情况具体评分，既能够锻炼学生的综合利用能力，亦可杜绝因闭卷考试而致的作弊现象。

　　Oliver Twist, one of the most famous works of Charles Dickens, is a novel reflecting the tragic fact of the life in Britain in 18th century. The author who himself was born in a poor family wrote this novel in his twenties with a view to reveal the ugly masks of those cruel criminals and to expose the horror and violence hidden underneath the narrow and dirty streets in London. The hero of this novel was Oliver Twist, an orphan, who was thrown into a world full of poverty and crime. He suffered enormous pain, such as hunger, thirst, beating and abuse. While reading the tragic experiences of the little Oliver, I was shocked by his sufferings. I felt for the poor boy, but at the same time I detested the evil Fagin and the brutal Bill.

　　To my relief, as was written in all the best stories, the goodness eventually conquered devil and Oliver lived a happy life in the end. One of the plots that attracted me most is that after the theft, little Oliver was allowed to recover in the kind care of Mrs. Maylie and Rose and began a new life. He went for walks with them, or Rose read to him, and he worked hard at his lessons.

　　He felt as if he had left behind forever the world of crime and hardship and poverty. How can such a little boy who had already suffered oppressive affliction remain pure in body and mind? The reason is the nature of goodness. I think it is the most important information implied in the novel by Dickens-he believed that goodness could conquer every difficulty. Although I don’t think goodness is omnipotent, yet I do believe that those who are kind-hearted live more happily than those who are evil-minded.

　　Friendship

　　Recently， I read a book named ？Shuang Leng Chang He？which is written by Yu Qiuyu。 There are some essays about philosophic theory of human life in this book。 However， I was attractive by the essay of friendship for I was told the essence of friendship and learnt how to make friends with others。

　　Friendship is an eternal theme we examine and explore 。But what is friendship？ What is the real meaning of friendship？ As we know， friendship is a life—long treasure。 With friends， we share our joys and tears。 Friendship is not a commodity with a price， nor should we alienate our friends by questioning or judging their virtues。

　　In traditional culture of China， most of the literary men admire the friendship between Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi。 They hold the point that mountain stream with a knowing ear is the luckiest thing and looking forward to this kind of friendship in their whole life。 However， a bosom friend is not easy to find in the real world。 It usually comes that the person is your friend today， and tomorrow would be your enemy。 Even more， when a person was deceived or betrayed by his friends， he would never trust any friends。 Usually， people will try their best to help their friends， even their lives when needed。 However they find it hard to forgive the friend who betrayed them。 Hence， how to establish friendly relationship is very important and necessary for human beings。

　　There is a Chinese saying goes， you depend on your parents when you stay at home， and you depend on your friends when you go out。 This kind of saying indicates that the importance of friends， at the same time it means the value of friends is for dependence。 Therefore， will you make friends with a person who has no use for you？ Or anyone helped you can become your friends？ What do we expect from our friends？ From my point of view， a real friend does not care your background， your wealth， your appearance。 The truest friend of all is one that reads your very soul， one who is always there when needed。 A real friend does not expect something from their friends or depend on his friends。

　　Friendship is an in—depth relationship combining trust， communication， and understanding。 Some people hold the idea that finding a friend is like coming home。

　　When you come “home” to a friend， you can relax； unbosoming you pains and sorrows and you needn？t pretend or act tough。 But do not forget one point that is keeping distance between you。 Most people of China are likely to ignore this kind of problem， which sometimes causes some unnecessary troubles。 From my point of view， we should better keep proper distance with our friends if you want keep a stable relationship。 Generally， as a Chinese， people would rather receive excessive kindness than say “NO？？ to their friends。 In their opinion， a good friend should not turn down their friends， if this happened， their friends would be regarded that they were looked down by their friends and felt loosing face。 For example， one of your friends is afraid of exam and he asks for your help during the examination。 What would you do？ To be or not to be？ Even though you are unwilling to cheat in the exam， you still promise to offer help and endure the suffering yourself from treating。

　　Every man alone is sincere。 At the entrance of a second person， hypocrisy begins。 Emerson said “A friend is a person with whom I may be sincere。 I do not wish to treat friendship daintily， but with roughest courage。” From these words， we know that friendship is built on sincerity， and sincerity is based on equality of personality。 Without sincerity and equality of personality， people will not trust others and make friends with others in heart。

　　In addition to this， Aristotle also said that wishing to be friends is quick work， but friendship is a slow—ripening fruit。 Maybe it only takes one second time to be friends， but you will spend more time to establish friendly relationships。 Pure friendship without judgment can enrich our life。 We have our own judgments on our friends according to their virtues。 Though you find virtues in your friends， he was your friend before you found them。 If you choose your friends on the ground that you are virtues and want virtuous company， you are no nearer to true friendship than of choosing them for commercial reasons。 Though you may choose the virtuous to be your friends， they may not choose you as a friend。 Nevertheless， without judgment does not mean that you should ignore what is right and wrong to support you friends without condition。 Unquestioning support will bring disaster finally。

　　From this article， people may feel that it is not easy to find a real friend。 In fact the problem is we require too much from friendship， such as the sense of belonging， obligation and other virtues。 If we get rid of this kind of demand and fetter， we will understand the friendship clearly and enjoy it completely。 Friendship is just like a seed which we should look after carefully。 Cherish is a virtue。 A friend is a friend； you should cherish the relationship maintain it with hearts。 What？s more， we should learn how to keep distance， how to keep the independence of spirit and personality； learn to distinguish what is right and what is wrong and make the exact choice。 Person

　　20xx年9月19日，参与全国教育科学“十一五”规划教育部重点课题《中国基础英语素质教育的途径与方法》的北京外国语大学课题组专职研究员连艳普女士特地到我校作了一场“英语教育与语感阅读课题实验”的专题报告。因我校已开始启用北外课题组提供的课题实验教材《典范英语》。就如何使用此阅读教材，如何启用有效的教法，连艳普研究员在报告中为我们作了一次生动、实效的研讨，从具体的英文阅读教学方式入手，指导我校英语教师如何进行科学的阅读教育，借助阅读读物的内容，力求让学生理解精确，得体、表演生动，仿写贴切，从而使英语学习变得轻松自如，饶有趣味。下面我将对阅读的选材、阅读教学及提升师生英语语言素质等方面进行论述。

　　一、接触地道有味的语言材料，关乎学生语言素质的发展

　　《典范英语》（Cood English）阅读教材原名《牛津阅读树》（Oxford Roatling），是牛津大学出版的一套家喻户晓的英国学生学习母语的材料。我校小学使用该教材的1-5册，初中使用6-9册。这套阅读教材语文鲜活生动，地道有味，深浅适宜，堪称“典范”。学生在阅读中体验、学习这样的语言材料，是可以奠定扎实的语言根基，并创造性地运用语言的前提和基础。

　　国家英语课程标准把“激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣”作为英语教育的首要任务。英语课程能不能引起学生的兴趣，关键在看学习内容。我们现行的英语教材教学目的太过实用化、功利化；教学方法较单调乏味，故事性不强，多多少少已倒掉了学生的胃口。部分英语教师的教学方法机械死板，只围考试转。孩子们所阅读的大部分国内自编阅读材料缺乏人文性、启谛性；所读的东西是“有句无文，有文无情”。

　　因此，基于“发展孩子学习心智，激发孩子学习兴趣，引导孩子理解、热爱生命”的英语素质教育目标，为学生选择原汁原味、趣味性强、文学味浓的《典范英语》作为阅读教材。本教材每册包括15-18本薄薄的小书，每本书就是一个完整有趣又极富人性启示的.故事。学生刚一翻开一本书就有要迫不急待读完的欲望，所以这样的阅读教材，可以让学生养成自觉阅读的习惯；从而自然习得获取英语知识。学习这些短小、生动、浅显易懂而又有意义的作品，学生们在语言和心智两方面都会得到发展，而那些长期作为学生阅读训练的、句句符合语法、有句无文，有文无情的材料就显得干瘪乏味，缺乏心智的启迪。

　　二、符合文学作品的阅读教学模式，突出阅读的人文意义

　　《典范英语》6-9册专供初中一、二年级使用。每册有10-18本读物。一本书一个故事，学生预读，一周一本小故事，教师每周用两课，在课堂启发提问，归纳词汇，分角色表演等，从各个层面、各个角度挖掘教材的“可读点、可演点”，课堂上不断调动学生的表演欲和展示欲，较好地贯彻了教学中需采用符合文学作品阅读教学的模式，突出阅读的人文意义而非只专注于知识与技能的学习，充分体现了以“语感教学促进知识能力提升”的课题实验理念，使课堂增添了文化的意识、异国的情调。学生真正乐学，从而成为“学习的主人”。

　　连艳普研究员在报告中举例了“实施英语素质教育”的典型案例：一个九岁的中国孩子到英语进行三个月的互访学习，出国前他的小作文堪称“烂作”。到英国的语言学习课堂上，他的任课老师给全班每人分发了一个阅读记载表，表中清楚显示出每周所读的书名、作者、妙词佳句、故事概括及家长签字等栏目。这个孩子坚持三个月的每天阅读，每天20-30分钟，后在回国的写作及能力测试方面取得惊人的进步。通过这一佐证，连老师让我们了解到英语素质教育实验理念和方法，以语感阅读为实践，为提升我们今后的教学提供借鉴与指导。学校英语教师将学到的经验和方法用到日常的课堂教学活动之中，努力领会和贯彻实验精神，以《典范英语》为阵地，逐步培养和提高学生的学习兴趣、心智，增加学生人文素养。

　　三、新型的阅读教材驱使教师改变教育观点，掌握阅读指导的正确方法

　　使用《典范英语》（Cood English）阅读材料，英语教师要充分认识到英语教育，尤其是中小学英语教育，首先是人的教育，是人的精神教育，而不仅仅是传授语言知识和技能。学生阅读的词句、语篇后面应该有情感、有思想、有内涵、有意义；即：

　　Reading for meaning，reading for pleasure,Reading for studying， reading for thinking。

　　语言的教育要从有“意思”、有“意义”的内容出发。以“内容”为核心，用内容“盘活”形式。背单词、记句型、抠语法、做考题、对捷径已违背了语言学习的客观规律。

　　老师在指导英语阅读上，要掌握正确的方法。《典范英语》阅读教材的学习形式是“整进整出”，即将教材内容整体输入，后又整体输出：使学生自然吸收语言；教师每周要求学生完成一本书（即一个故事），围绕故事内容开展各种语言实践活动。具体安排如下：

　　学生每天课后自读《典范英语》的故事20分钟，听磁带，模仿朗读或背诵。教师每周用两节课时通过设问、故事情况演绎来检查学生理解故事的情况；学生在课堂上通过讨论、复述、评价及表演等实践活动深化理解和自然完成语言习得过程。每读完一本故事后，教师要指导学生改写故事，续编结局或自创故事。这样，学生听、说、读、写得以训练，尤其写作不以重复原话、语法正确为满足，而以自创新句、表达生动、用句地道为追求。这便是“乐学好思”的表现，也是学生英语语言素质的养成表现。

　　当教师和学生每一次接触到“典范英语”每一个十几页或几十页的故事往往感到无所适从。因为我们长期习惯在教学短篇课文上“精雕细琢”。而长故事可越读越短，短课文可越讲越长。实验证明，普通的学生完全可以一周完成“典范英语”的一部作品。一开始生词可能多一些，读得慢一些，但鼓励学生不要有畏难情绪，要连贯阅读，进入故事情节，追寻离奇结局，像读中文小说一样。随着阅读量的增加，词汇的积累以及每日阅读习惯的养成，英语学习自然变得轻松愉快，学生的英语素质亦会自然习得，阅读过程将变成一个“智慧的重复”。

　　教会学生读书是教师的第一任务。当前在探索基础英语素质教育的途径和方法过程中，英语教师应以“新课标”为指导，大胆改变传统的、费时低效的英语教育观念，为学生慎重选择阅读材料，指导、督促学生每天坚持阅读，并围绕所读篇章展开听、说、读写训练。坚持一至两年，完成《典范英语》的64本原文故事，那时，学生的英语语言素质将达到一个质的飞跃，而教师也将会获得一种全新的教学体验和感受。

　　Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice is a lighthearted tale of love and marriage in eighteenth-century England. It centers on the elder sisters of the Bennet family, Jane and Elizabeth. Their personalities, misunderstandings and the roles of pride and prejudice play a lavishing story. This story is told from third point of view. From my perspective Jane Austen wanted to convey love wins over prejudice and to not just take in the saying of first impression but to look in the person's character deeper. Jane Austin was born in 1775 in Stevenson, Hampshire. Her family wasn't rich but managed to give her a decent education. She was the seventh of eight children of her father, a clergyman.

　　Like other young women of her social class, Jane and her sister Cassandra were educated mostly at home in subjects of music, drawing, painting, needlework, and social behavior. Her father's encouragement and her own enjoyment in reading led Jane to became very well read. At fourteen she began to write little plays for home theatricals. She also wrote nonsense story's to entertain her family. Jane would spend the majority of the evening in the corner of the room with her manuscript and blotter observing the world surrounding her. She would write when the room was quiet and if she were interrupted, she would cover her manuscript with a blotter and continued when the room was silent again. Before Jane Austen died of cancer in 1817 at Winchester, she had already published six successful novels: Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Northanger Abbey, Mansfield Park, Emma, and Persuasion, respectively. Jane Austen is now buried in the ancient cathedral in Winchester of her native Hampshire. Pride and Prejudice lets you travel through lives back then but also she portrays the lives of modern days. You can read it and you might be able to recall some parts of the book as your life, but in a different time period

　　“教育是民族振兴的基石。”当今高等教育发展的指导思想就是提高学生综合素质，其核心就是学生的创造性思维和人文精神的培养。文学是一个民族优秀文化的结晶，人类宝贵的精神财富，是文化的载体。这一特点决定了英国文学课不仅是我们学习英语语言，了解英美文化的重要手段，而且是培养大学生人文素质的有效途径。因此，英国文学课作为高校英语专业高年级学生的专业必修课，其意义在于“培养学生阅读、欣赏、理解英语文学原著的能力”的同时培养其独立思考和创造性思维能力。所以这门课完全可以凭借其得天独厚的人文优势，成为培养学生创造性思维和人文精神的最佳平台。

　　一、英国文学课教学存在的问题

　　从国内近几年文学课研究调查报告中不难发现“超过60%的教师仍然沿用比较传统的教学模式”（程爱民等），教师“满堂灌”，不能有效地指导学生对文学作品进行复杂、深入和富有想象力的思考，而文学作品中固有的智慧、感情、想象力以及审美意识，都在这刻板、僵化的模式教学中渐渐丧失，学生的自主思考能力受到严重的压抑和损害，甚至对文学课失去了兴趣，更谈不上人文素质的提高了。近几年来国内文学课教学研究一直围绕着“如何教”这一主题，并取得了一定的成果。比如：课堂上鼓励学生参与讨论，积极发挥学生的主动性；充分利用多媒体和网络等现代教育技术，用丰富生动的音、画、影、像去激发学生的'兴趣和想象力。（王守仁）但由于文学课内容庞杂而课时安排有限，课上过多安排讨论对已习惯于听课、记笔记的中国学生来说收效不大。再有，学生面对于功能强大的网络技术及内容丰富的网络资源往往无所适从，不知哪些可用、哪些不可。

　　二、建构主义理论

　　“建构主义”最早是由瑞典心理学家皮亚杰提出的，后来通过维果斯基、乔纳生等人的研究得到了进一步的丰富和完善，从而形成了比较完整的理论。建构主义强调学习者的认知能力和认知模式，重视学生的个体认知差异。认为认知不是通过教师的传授得到的，而是学生在一定的情境下通过意义建构的方式获得的。学习过程中教师作为引导着、帮助者，努力为学生创设学习情境，调动学生的积极性、主动性和创造性，最终促成学生对所学知识的意义建构。

　　如何在“建构主义理论”框架指导下，探索一条能够有效培养学生自主学习能力，提高文学素养和人文素质的英国文学教学新模式呢？

　　三、英国文学实践教学新模式

　　笔者通过本校英语专业07级和08级两届学生的实践教学总结出了一条集教师课堂讲授、学生主动参与、多媒体、网络为辅助的多元互动英国文学教学新模式。

　　（一）课堂教学

　　课堂上以多媒体课件辅助下的教师讲授为主，内容包括这一时期的历史背景、文化背景及文学特点，目的在于将文学置于广阔的社会、历史、文化背景中，从宏观的角度分析文学，同时增强学生对西方文化的理解。鼓励学生参与课题研究和专题讨论。教师针对作品选读部分设计思考题，安排学生在课上做学习报告，激励学生借助网络研究课题，得出结论，培养他们独立研究的能力。除此之外，教师就一些文学界中争议比较大的作品组织学生讨论和辩论，引导学生从多个角度入手，鼓励学生针对作品提出自己的观点，培养他们独立思考问题的能力、论证问题的能力和创造力。

　　（二）课外文学学习活动

　　课外活动同样是在教师的有序指导下完成。鼓励学生充分利用自主学习教室的资料库，阅读课上讨论的经典文学作品选读的全文，深刻理解作品的精髓。作业要求学生根据学过的文学知识进行诗歌、散文或短篇小说创作，以及翻译诗歌、续写故事、给故事中的人物写信、文学作品评论等活动。为学生开设各种文学讲座，对各个时期重要的文艺理论家和主要的文学理论进行足够的讲解，拓展学生的学术视野，培养学生创造性思维能力，增强学生的文学敏感性，以顺应时展对复合型外语人才的要求。除此，还组织和指导学生参与英国诗歌朗诵比赛、戏剧表演等活动，激发学生文学阅读与欣赏的兴趣、提高对文学的感性认识。在网络空间建立师生共同参与的互动文学博客。学生的读书报告提交到网络博客，打破以往教师一人写评语的模式。学生的读书报告要发表在班级博客，除了教师以外会有更多的同学甚至一些素未相识的读者阅读和评价。一方面可以激发学生的创作潜能，另一方面使得学生意识到自己是创作活动的主体，从而大大提高学习的积极性。由外教每周组织文学沙龙和学生探讨文学作品的创作动因、情节安排、作品创作的历史文化背景、人物塑造等元素，丰富学生的阅读视角。

　　（三）考核体系

　　笔者在从事英国文学课教学过程中尝试了“形成性评价”为主的成绩考核方法，改变过去一张卷纸定乾坤的评价标准。增加考核评价的广度，内容包括期末考试、作业、课内外活动参与程度等。考试减少一些死记硬背的题目，增加一些考查学生创造性思维和表达的题目。作业包括小说改写、结尾续写、诗歌创作、戏剧表演、读书报告、短篇小说创作、学期论文。课内活动包括课堂讨论，课题研究。课外活动包括：读书报告互评，网络即时讨论交流，学习反思报告撰写。针对每一项考核内容制定了详细的考核标准，成绩分别由老师、同学和学生本人给出。此种考核方式不仅达到了良好的考核目的，更易培养出一批有创造性、有真知灼见的学生。

　　四、结语

　　学期末对全班学生进行了问卷调查。调查结果显示：82.5%的学生认为课堂上多媒体课件十分有利于其对作家生平及文学作品的理解，特别是视频的使用激发了其对文学的兴趣和热爱。14.3%原来对文学毫无兴趣的学生经过一个学期的学习对文学产生了一定的兴趣。究其文学兴趣改变的原因，80%的学生选择的是因为教学模式的改变。对于提交作业到网络博客，23%的同学选择非常同意，39%的学生选择“同意”。开放式问题提到多媒体课件使用上存在的不足，有10%的学生提到了多媒体课件能否网络化？这也是本项研究下一步要解决的问题。
